Seasonal Retreats

This is what our Sangha offers.

We offer four online seasonal 7-day cleanse and rejuvenation retreats and one physical gathering each year. The seasonal retreats take place online every three months. Before each retreat, we meet online to prepare ourselves for the retreat. We meet every evening during the 7-day cleanse to check in with everyone, ask questions, connect, and set intentions for the next day. The week after the retreat we meet again online to help us integrate the changes we have initiated.

The physical Summer gathering is a great opportunity to get together in person is to connect with other members of our Sangha, eat together, practise meditation, set intentions, and exchange ideas about how our journey together can bring nourishing solutions to our communities.

Season Sangha Four Pillars

At Seasonal Sangha we gather online every season (online) to adjust our lifestyles according to the rhythm of nature. We reset the body with a cleanse, then build it again with the rejuvenation protocol. Our four pillars are: Food, Behaviour, Life ways and Remedies.

Eating seasonal, we eat local and seasonal food according to our body type. Cultivating behaviour that is kind, accepting, and generous, towards ourselves and others. Integrating our remedies to support the elimination and integration. Feeding our hearts and mind with yoga, meditation, journaling and sound.

Once you become a member you will be sent 7 short on-demand videos, a collection of recipes in PDF and an annual calendar of events. The videos include meditations, yoga and information on the retreats.

The Process

Each retreat not only purifies the body but the mind and spirit too. The ancients regularly undertook initiation ceremonies to shed their old selves and be reborn with new insights. This ritual of life-death-rebirth is integral to the Seasonal Sangha retreat.

We prepare the body, creating a safe container where we surrender and let go of behaviours that no longer serve us.

We undertake the cleanse, where the old version of ourselves dies, the part that has unconsciously learned unhealthy habits.

We release karmic patterns or what we call in the west genetic patterns.
After the 7 days we feel rejuvenated. We regenerate our cells and become a freer, more authentic version of ourselves.

PREPARATION

To gain the most benefits from the cleanse we recommend that you prepare your body by beginning to change the foods you eat in the week leading up to it.

CLEANSE

We recommend that you try to take it easy and clear your schedule as best you can, so that you can rest during the cleanse. In this phase, you will be preparing and eating meals based on the recipes that are sent out to you. Meals per day will take the pattern of 3, 2, 1, 0, 1, 2, 3 over the 7 days, and you will decide whether this pattern works for you or if you want to maintain 3 meals per day. You need to listen to your body – you will still gain benefits of the cleanse whatever pattern you choose.

INTEGRATION

The week after the cleanse is integration, where different and healthier foods based on your constitution are introduced back into your body.
